The Kerrville Daily Times is looking for a reporter, who is interested in small-town, community journalism. We want you to contribute to our newspaper’s print product, social media and overall web presence and participate in conversations to increase our reach.
All you need are these qualifications to boost your journalism career: Accuracy in reporting. Fluency in AP Style. Strong interpersonal skills. Strong computer skills, including social media savvy. Can definitely meet deadlines. Ability to collaborate on projects and work in an often fast-paced environment. Contribute to newsroom conversations regarding projects, daily budget and story pitches. Ability to work independently or with other news staff. Bilingual a plus.
This is a full time position with all the perks: Medical, dental and optical insurance and optional add-ons; matching 401K; paid time off; and vacation and sick leave. This is not a remote position.
