The Courier-Gazette is hiring a Copy Editor
This is an excellent position for someone interested in the Midcoast community.
This important employee edits staff-generated stories, letters to the editor, obituaries, and press releases for libel, clarity, spelling, accuracy, grammar and AP style. The job also involves uploading stories and photos online and readying them for print publications.
The Courier-Gazette holds itself to the Society of Professional Journalists’ Code of Ethics and is a member of the Maine Press Association.
This is a full-time, benefit eligible position with MaineStay Media, headquartered in Camden, Maine. This is not a work-from-home position. Some night and weekend work may be required.
