Durango is one of the most sought-after outdoor paradises in the country, where the mountains meet the desert, with an unrivaled four-season climate. It offers uncrowded access to a national forest, regional ski areas, two major rivers, a four-year college, five breweries (and counting!), open space galore, a vibrant arts and music scene, and stellar dining and nightlife.

Cortez is a politically diverse and changing southwestern corner of Colorado, surrounded by mesas, mountains, desert and high plateau. Year-round recreational opportunities abound.

Farmington serves as the commercial hub for most of northwestern New Mexico and the Four Corners region.  It is the largest city of San Juan County, one of the geographically largest counties in the United States, and is located at the junction of the San Juan, Animas and La Plata rivers, on the Colorado Plateau.
