Description:
The award-winning Killeen Daily Herald is seeking an editor/reporter to cover military and veterans issues in the Killeen-Fort Cavazos area. The position requires writing a variety of news and features for an area encompassing Killeen, Fort Cavazos, Harker Heights, Copperas Cove and other communities. The position is in charge of the Fort Cavazos Herald, a weekly newspaper published by KDH. The successful candidate will have military knowledge and a journalism or English degree and newspaper experience. Basic photography and video skills are also required. Must be able to work nights and weekends, as needed. The position is considered full-time, but part-time candidates will also be considered. This is not a remote job.
