The part-time LA Inno reporter will be responsible for covering one of the hottest startup markets in the world. LA is home to a thriving entrepreneurial ecosystem, and this reporter will be tasked with writing about the fast-growing, innovative startups that are moving the city’s economy forward.Our reporters have a keen eye for news and know how to report stories that resonate with readers.
The ideal candidate can identify the people, companies and initiatives that drive the news cycle, and connect our readers with the movers and shakers that define the LA startup scene.They will use source building, sharp news judgment, top-notch interviewing skills and scoop-driven reporting to create stories that our readers crave. This reporter will write rich profiles of fast-growing startups and the leaders behind them, news about deals that highlights where capital is flowing, and feature stories that provide greater insight into what makes up the local tech ecosystem.
We value new perspectives on our team, and our tenured and multifaceted group provides mentorship to support development within the organization. Our external and internal training includes focused topics that prepare our team members to take on bigger challenges and continuously develop skills.
