Vero Beach 32963 Media, LLC is looking to hire the kind of photographer whose photos dazzle readers.
The editors of our three papers come from The Washington Post, Miami Herald, and other major publications. This photographer will be responsible for covering news, people, arts, business, food, real estate and sports for three, hyper-local weekly publications. With this job comes both the opportunity and expectation to shape how photography is represented in the paper.
The Vero Beach 32963 newspaper serves the barrier island in Vero Beach, Fla. It seeks to report the news in-depth while also providing feature coverage in a style more common to magazines. In fact, many residents in Vero Beach refer to 32963 as a magazine. In addition to the print edition, 32963's sister online daily site Veronews.com reports up to the minute news and provides an outlet for slideshows and video.
If you are a talented, highly-professional photojournalist who is up to the challenge of taking our photography to the next level, this is the job for you. You will be expected to provide your own vehicle and equipment. We offer a gas/equipment stipend, as well as two weeks vacation and a flexible schedule.
Please send email titled 'Photographer' with resumé, cover letter, availability and salary requirements, and a link to an online portfolio to Dan Alexander at firstname.lastname@example.org.
