Description:
The Ellsworth American seeks a motivated, conscientious reporter/writer/photographer to cover municipal government, business, police and human interest stories in Downeast Maine.
Experience or training in reporting is necessary. Applicants must have reliable transportation and be willing to work evenings and occasional weekends.
One of New England’s most distinguished weekly newspapers, The American was founded in 1851 and covers Hancock County, Maine.
This is a full-time, year-round position with benefits that include health insurance, paid time off and 401K.
