Assistant Editor

Del Val Media, publishers of South Jersey Magazine, Suburban Life, Suburban Family, House & Home Magazine, South Jersey Biz and Orlando Family Magazine is looking for an assistant editor with at least 5 years experience with a print publication, preferably with a magazine or newspaper. The ideal candidate will possess sharp editing, writing and conceptual skills, excellent judgment and a high-energy level. Duties will include research, interviewing sources and writing a range of stories from small front of book blurbs to long-form features as well as advertorial business profiles and more.

The ability to multi-task while focusing on the big picture is a must and experience with AP style is required.

Candidates MUST live in the South Jersey area and should have a strong foundation of local knowledge with regard to the communities of Burlington, Camden and Gloucester counties. We are looking for someone with a strong work ethic and who is motivated by success. Send cover letter, resume, salary requirements and three clips. This is a full - time position in our Marlton, NJ office and you must live in Southern NJ to be considered.
