LMN Architects, a Seattle design firm dedicated to enriching the health and vitality of urban environments through a diversity of public and private work, is seeking a professional writer to join our dedicated staff of 150 people. The role will entail creative collaboration with LMN’s design leadership to articulate the purpose, relevance, and performance of our projects as an extension of the firm’s underlying values and commitment to regenerative, climate-positive design across a wide range of program typologies and urban communities.
The position will report to the Director of Business Development and work across the full breadth of our design practice—architecture, interior design, urban design, sustainability, and fabrication—to engage LMN’s thought leadership in crafting narrative content that articulates the essential impact of our projects at all scales and from multiple viewpoints. We envision this role will be both expository and generative in nature—expanding on the impact of the work to impart meaning beyond traditional architectural descriptions, while also contributing critical thinking in our ever-evolving process of design, research, engagement, and project execution. We are open to discussing hybrid or remote work options.
LMN Architects is internationally recognized for planning and design of public facilities and urban developments that elevate the social experience. The firm’s work encompasses a diversity of project typologies with an overriding emphasis on enriching the broader urban experience through regenerative expressions of place.
