Description:
The Havre Daily News is a hyper-local, Monday-Friday daily newspaper serving the community of Havre and the area known as the Hi-Line. We are seeking a full-time photo journalist to be a part of our Montana Newspaper Association award-winning paper and staff. Applicants should be willing to shoot a diverse range of subjects with an emphasis on sports and outdoors, as we cover 14 area high schools and NAIA Montana State University-Northern athletics, as well as summer activities such as rodeos and outdoor recreation in the beautiful Bear Paw Mountains. The staff photographer will also cover a wide range of news events in the community, as well as portraits and photo shoots for feature stories and our Living Magazine, which we publish quarterly.
