Summary: A digital producer helps drive audience growth and engagement through daily content creation and/ or production to digital publishing platforms, including website and social media management.
Create and/ or aggregate daily digital content -- short stories, podcasts, interactives, videos, photos, etc.
Edit/ rewrite content and headlines to appeal to digital audiences.
Champion our local SEO efforts.
Share and promote digital content through various social media channels.
Assist in management of the local website to ensure a local and up-to-date content experience for readers.
Work with local and regional newsroom teams and the FCC content network on projects and initiatives to grow online audience and loyalty.
Other duties as assigned.
Excellent communications skills and knowledge of and interest in digital and social media platforms.
Writing, video and photo editing knowledge preferred.
Strong command of grammar and punctuation.
Must be creative, hardworking and a self starter.
Must have a valid driver’s license with a driving record that is insurable by the company.
