The International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans has a reputation for providing state-of-the-industry education, research and information concerning pensions and benefits to a diverse audience within the United States and Canada. Headquartered in Brookfield, Wisconsin, the Foundation is a non-lobbying and nonpartisan educational association.

The individual in this position will gather and prepare material on employee benefits topics for publication in print and digital magazines, survey reports and books. Work includes communicating with potential authors; acquiring, editing and writing articles for publication in three magazines; reviewing and editing books and survey reports; and contributing to website content by writing blog postings.
This position requires a degree in English, journalism, communications or a related field. This would include a minimum of one (1) to two (2) years of editing and/or writing experience. Prior experience in employee benefits is preferred. Knowledge of Canadian pensions and group benefits is a plus. The individual will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills (both written and oral). They will demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently to meet the deadlines of their various projects. They will have the ability to exercise discretion, multi-task, and perform duties with a minimum of supervision and direction. This individual will possess excellent organizational and time management skills, and previous magazine publishing and marketing skills are necessary.
The individual must be able to travel (approximately 5%) and be able to work in a normal office environment.
