Production Assistant, Marketing, PBS NewsHour

Full-time, Regular

Reports to: Senior Director, Brand Strategy and Communications

ABOUT THE ROLE

As our Production Assistant, Marketing, you’ll manage our marketing assets (including brand and talent sizzle reels), promos, funding decks and presentations. You’ll have your hands in production work as well, from editing video to acquiring and logging footage to researching and fulfilling video requests. Looking for a position where you can be creative? We welcome new and creative ideas, based on what you’ve found through research of marketing trends and opportunities. You’ll work with a wide variety of staff - from our senior editorial team to our fundraising teams and other senior staff.

YOUR FIRST 90 DAYS

You’ll get to know your team and the wider organization, and how each group functions independently as well as part of the whole. You’ll learn our fast-paced work style while establishing key relationships with colleagues. You’ll be diversifying our portfolio of assets while continuing to better understand how we stand out among a competitive media landscape.
