Reports to: Senior Vice President and General Manager
ABOUT THE ROLE
In this new position, you’ll directly support PBS NewsHour with fundraising, marketing, and operational strategies. You’ll perform market research, design sales strategies, and produce marketing collateral including written communications, video reels and presentations/decks to best position us with funder goals and objectives. This position is unique in that you’ll work across all fundraising sectors to assist in breaking through with prospects or follow-ups.
YOUR FIRST 90 DAYS
You’ll get to know your team and the wider organization (PBS NewsHour and WETA), and how each group functions independently as well as part of the whole. You’ll learn our editorial structure by watching the nightly broadcast, attending editorial meetings, and working with producers and senior staff.
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
You are materially aiding efforts to increase revenues, realize operational efficiencies, and grow overall reach of NewsHour brand.
