B2B Thought Leadership Writer- Remote

Rosebud Communications, a boutique Los Angeles and Florida-based communications firm serving clients across the United States and Europe, seeks experienced writers to join its growing editorial team.

Our award-winning writers and editors help both startup founders and executives at established companies to tell compelling stories about their brands. Working in partnership with corporate clients, we produce thought leadership content for major industry publications and websites, national and metro newspapers, and other top-tier media outlets.

This position would suit a recent J-school graduate with stellar clips, or an experienced writer seeking new opportunities. Either way, the ideal candidate must be able to demonstrate excellent writing skills, strong news judgment, and the ability to produce polished, well-argued opinion and thought leadership pieces while working against tight deadlines.

Experience covering business or technology is a bonus, as is an ability to write authoritatively about a wide range of topics. In any given week, our writers may be expected to produce a piece about artificial intelligence, healthcare, workplace diversity, or emerging trends in industries ranging from energy to e-commerce.

Primary responsibilities include collaborating with our research team, developing concepts for opinion pieces, and working closely with clients and editors to produce completed stories for placement in major media outlets. The candidate must have the confidence to work independently, but also the ability to learn from feedback, in order to produce compelling content that routinely exceeds clients’ expectations. He/She must  be easy to work with — no egos here! — and have a good sense of humor.

This is a great opportunity for a writer who wants to be part of building a new communications platform — or who needs a flexible, reliable income while pursuing other freelance opportunities. Employees can work remotely from anywhere in the U.S. The position requires a minimum commitment of 10 hours per week, with the possibility of increasing to 25+ hours for the right candidate, or potentially full-time.

Writers receive a highly competitive hourly rate based on experience and quality of work.
