California Energy Markets, an independent, subscription-based publication covering the utility, energy and natural gas industries in California and the Southwest for more than 30 years, is looking for freelance writers. This remote work focuses on energy policy and regulation, power markets, energy resources and other relevant topics. We are seeking skilled journalists whose work is accurate and balanced and who can juggle multiple story assignments and meet deadlines. This position requires providing context and distilling complex topics into well-written stories for a professional audience.
