Roundtable Research is looking for an enthusiastic, detail-oriented Managing Editor to help the editorial team make sure our free and paid newsletters go out error-free. This position will report to the Editor in Chief.

How you'll spend your 9-to-5:

We're busy (and growing), so grab a paddle... We'll need you to hunt and destroy errors in spelling, grammar, word choice, style, and formatting. You'll fact-check anything and everything we publish, work closely with the editorial and layout teams, format Word and Excel documents for publication, and tackle the occasional one-off project.

What we need:

Does it drive you nuts to see a typo in the Baltimore Sun? Do you have a close eye for detail, a strong work ethic, and the desire to make a real difference on a team? If so, you might just be our ideal candidate...

We want someone who can juggle and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously – a self-starter who can work independently or collaborate within a team. And while we don't necessarily need you to remember everything you learned in AP Calc, it would help if you have some basic math skills.

What we want:

Ideally, you have a four-year degree in English or journalism – or at the very least, you're the person who your friends ask to look over their cover letters. We're looking for someone who knows what "AP style" means. Bonus points if you have a basic understanding of HTML and experience (or interest) in investing.

About Roundtable Research:

Founded in 2019 as a joint venture with Stansberry Research, Roundtable Research is the umbrella company for Empire Financial Research and Altimetry Research, two of the country's fastest-growing publishers of investment research. Our products range from options trading to SPACs, microcap stocks to large-cap stocks, and everything in between. Located in Baltimore, Maryland's historic Mt. Vernon neighborhood, our analysts have run their own hedge funds, beaten the market for decades, appeared on CNBC, Bloomberg, 60 Minutes, the Wall Street Journal, Forbes, and more.

Our commitment to excellence has made us one of the most respected publishers in the financial newsletter industry. Our subscribers include many of the biggest names on Wall Street – including Bill Ackman, Joel Greenblatt, Leon Cooperman, Seth Klarman, and others. We've quickly become one of the most widely followed publishers in the world, with hundreds of thousands of readers and more than 100,000 paid subscribers in less than two years.

Our commitment:

As an employer committed to equal opportunity and a diverse workforce, all qualified applicants will receive consideration without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
