Editor position in beautiful Hood River, Oregon for newly formed regional publication covering the Gorge area of Hood River and The Dalles in Oregon and the communities of White Salmon and Bingen across the Columbia River in Washington. This newspaper publishes weekly and posts on-line web and social media content regularly. The position requires the ability to cover a variety of general news including government, state and city along with feature stories and a variety of specialty publications. The editor will be one of two covering the Gorge communities. The ability to collaborate and work as a team with a small staff is important, along with the need to provide positive public relations on behalf of the Columbia Gorge News within the communities it serves.
