Aging Media Network is a growing boutique business-to-business media (B2B) company covering the $8 trillion business of aging through six industry-leading publications.

We’re hiring a Health Care Research Analyst to join our membership team and produce regular market research and analysis about the future of senior care. This new position will be part of a premium membership product designed for industry leaders looking for analysis and insights to help them make strategic decisions.

To accomplish that goal, we need a great writer with a hunger and curiosity to uncover the latest healthcare trends and turn them into compelling narratives on what the future of senior care looks like and what companies can do to stay ahead of the competition.

The Health Care Research Analyst will experiment and create a wide variety of content in a fast paced environment: newsletters, charts of the day, and create analyst notes on specific subjects. Specifically, the analyst will create content on innovations with a major focus on healthcare at home and senior living communities.

A few topics that you could dig into could be:

— the rise of Medicare Advantage and how providers are adapting their business to take advantage of this fast-growing market
— deep dives on how technology is disrupting the standard models of care (remote monitoring, telehealth, and more)

This is a role for someone with 1-3 years of industry market research experience in healthcare/banking/consulting and is passionate about the business of healthcare, and loves to do in-depth analysis. 

The position will report directly to the President and co-founder of the company.

Desired Skills & Experience

Minimum 1-3 years of market research in healthcare/banking/consulting 
Writing experience in business or healthcare is a must – it can be within the fields of market research, business journalism, equity research, consulting, or within a healthcare company/organization.
Obsessively curious about a range of business and healthcare trends
Ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced, and rapidly-changing environment
Knowledge of Excel or Google Sheets
A solid grounding in business analysis fundamentals
Strong communication and writing skills
An interest in data-driven visual storytelling
