We're looking to hire a senior reporter for our growing editorial team. The position is full-time and remote.
What you'll do:
-generate original story ideas (both daily news stories and longer pieces)
-report and write stories about American agriculture and food
-build a broad network of sources
-pitch in with some social media/copy editing work
Qualifications:
-a journalism degree
-at least five years of experience working in a newsroom or writing for a magazine
-the ability to produce clean copy on deadline
-the ability to work independently, but also part of a team remotely
-experience covering food and/or agriculture is an asset
