Managing Editor, FedScoop
FedScoop seeks a managing editor to lead its daily news publication covering the use of technology in the U.S. government. Overseeing a team of world-class technology reporters, the managing editor will work hand-in-hand with staff writers to inspire, workshop and publish timely, enterprising reporting on the $90 billion the federal government spends annually on IT, cybersecurity and other emerging technologies.
The ideal candidate is an innovative and meticulous team player — an editor whose curiosities and hunger to produce breaking news takes them beyond the typical news cycle. As an accomplished journalist, in addition to their editing responsibilities, they will aspire to cover and report on the federal technology beat as well.
