business.com is looking for an experienced data journalist to write data-driven articles that tell the story of what small business owners are experiencing today. Where should entrepreneurs invest their time and money today and in the future? Are there sectors or geographic regions that are best to focus on? In the current and post-COVID world, what are the industries that will thrive and grow? We want to tell these stories to help inform them through stats and data.

 

Do you love data research, and connecting complicated data to narrative stories? Are you driven find the impactful stories and find the data sources that drive those stories forward? Are you a strong writer with a knack for interpreting statistics and making complicated topics simple to understand? This could be the role for you.

 

The right candidate will have at least 1-3 years experience in data research and reporting, preferably for a business-based publication.

Our content is used to inform business owners how to launch and grow their operations. Our commitment is to build the leading informational resource for our audience of small business owners and operators. Your role is help us do this by helping entrepreneurs how to understand their markets and their customers, and how to make good decisions based on solid data.
