Would you enjoy supporting an editorial team that partners with knowledgeable professionals and experts in important topics such as education, foster care, the environment or dozens of other topics that have an incredibly difficult time explaining their organizations to anyone without a PhD in their respective fields?

The News & Review Publications Department produces a wide range of 4- to 16-page custom publications, which tell the story of an organization through profiles that illustrate its mission. The purpose is to move the readers to action. Our clients are primarily nonprofits, service organizations, and government agencies. A sampling can be seen at www.nrpubs.com. News & Review has produced over 500 custom publications that are handed out, inserted into newspapers, and used in various forms of social media.

The Editorial Coordinator supports N&R Publications with project management, editorial and administrative tasks that contribute to the overall efficiency of this growing department. N&R Publications produces brand content on behalf of client organizations, which generates revenue to support News & Review. The primary responsibility of this position is to support the Editorial team with completing production tasks including proofing/copy editing, inputting changes in InCopy, factchecking, and coordinating production workflow in Asana. Other support duties include writing, compiling production calendars, filing, morgue organization, processing freelancer payments, some correspondence with clients and interview sources, social media account management, social media optimization, creating accessible versions of the publications and e-publishing to N&R Publications website.

This position requires familiarity with editorial standards and principles of newspaper design. This position requires extreme attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines, and excellent communications skills between internal and external parties.


40 hours per week. Specific schedule to be assigned by the Editor.
