OPPORTUNITY: Paid Multimedia Leadership Intern –The Wilson Center-Washington D.C.

Duration—6 months beginning March/April 2020



A full-time paid internship working with four-time Emmy winning Vice President of External Relations at The Wilson Center.


The position will work with the Wilson Center Vice President of External Relations, other communications staff, program directors and scholar experts to research, produce, shoot, and edit short videos, websites, interactive visualizations, graphics and podcasts covering a wide range of international topics. Creativity and flexibility are key and a strong interest in foreign affairs highly desirable.  The multimedia intern projects will run the gamut from program profiles to event videos to educational products targeting a general audience. The intern will shoot all necessary footage or otherwise gather it from a variety of sources and then create a final product. They should be able to produce graphics, source and edit music, and optimize videos for a variety of social platforms. Payment is $15.07 per hour, 35 hours per week and a great opportunity to get exceptional experience.



Shoot and edit short videos and audio; take photographs; write narrative stories and blogs; create multimedia projects including social media posts, podcasts, timelines, maps, graphics and interactives
