The Salt Lake Tribune — Utah’s largest daily newspaper — is looking for a part-time copy editor to work with the sports and news staff.
The ideal candidate will have a keen news sense, proven word smarts and sharp design skills. Job duties include, but are not limited to, editing for grammar, spelling, clarity, accuracy, AP style and house style; writing enticing headlines and other display text; and designing print pages in InDesign.
This editor will work six hours each day Wednesday through Saturday, with two shifts designing sports pages and two shifts designing news pages. Shifts are 5 p.m. to 11 p.m.
