Description:

The Hubbard School of Journalism and Mass Communication at the University of Minnesota invites applications for a full-time, professional instructional staff position in journalism with an emphasis on accountability reporting, data literacy and writing.

Candidate must have a B.A. in communication, journalism, or closely related field is required for appointment as a teaching specialist. A professional M.A. or PhD in journalism or mass communication or related field is required for appointment as a lecturer. Applicants should be proficient in investigative reporting techniques, such as data gathering and analysis, public records requests, and the uses of current technologies. Experience with teaching and/or mentorship is required.
