Description:

AmeriForce Media, publisher of Military Families Magazine and Reserve & National Guard Magazine, is seeking a freelance journalist to cover the stories affecting today's military community. The ideal candidate should have a familiarity of covering the military, including terminology, or a background in news reporting. 

Assignments would include breaking news, unit training/deployments, business/veteran entrepreneurship, profiles and more. Candidates should be deadline driven with the ability to find quality sources, conduct phone or in-person interviews, and turn in clean copy adhering to AP style. Strong interview skills are a must. This is a remote position.
