Job Description

In this new position, we are seeking a talented and motivated Custom Content Associate Editor to join our award-winning content team. This role works in collaboration with our sales team, editorial staff and clients on planning content and custom projects. The right candidate will partner with clients to develop native advertising strategies and create content that supports brand messaging and positions advertisers as thought-leaders and industry experts. This candidate will also have the opportunity to create custom content for all Journalistic media properties and report on trends across related industries.


The Custom Content Associate Editor will research, source and write reported stories that engage our audience while helping clients share their brand messages. Duties include: writing, editing and tracking the performance of custom content pieces, gathering artwork and trafficking deliverables, coordinating print and digital layouts with the design team, scheduling interviews, enforcing deadlines for production and securing client approval on all projects, managing promotion and publishing schedules, posting articles to websites, moderating webinars, coordinating paid social media campaigns and sharing metrics with sales team. The ideal candidate should be confident, engaging, autonomous and results-driven. They should also have experience with content management systems and a fundamental understanding of performance analytics.



Bachelors in related field and 3-5 years experience, preferably in print or digital media, communications or marketing.
