The Marketing Branch is a section within the Information, Education & Wildlife Recreation Division and specializes in the agency’s marketing, creative and publishing needs as well as public communication, media relations and one-on-one customer communication in support of the Department’s mission.

 

Description of Duties:

The Creative Services group is seeking a project-based copywriter and editor to assist the Marketing Branch in developing and editing content across multiple channels. You will be working with the Creative Services Supervisor to draft, revise and edit both long- and short-form content. We are looking for a dynamic, independent self-starter who is motivated and can work quickly. Qualified candidates will have excellent writing skills, with a clear, succinct and engaging style that can translate technical detail into easily digestible information across multiple target markets. We are looking for a natural storyteller to develop powerful, engaging copy for branding and content marketing.

Position requires possession of and ability to retain a current, valid state-issued driver’s license appropriate to the assignment.  Employees who drive on state business are subject to driver’s license record checks, must maintain acceptable driving records and must complete any required driver training in accordance with Arizona Administrative Code R2-10-207.12.
