Twin Cities PBS is a culture of talented minds working on a common mission to tell stories that matter, in a collaborative environment. Our interactive media and innovative programming makes a difference and impacts our communities in Minnesota and around the nation. And you could be part of this team! Twin Cities PBS has two audience engagement opportunities with our digital publishing teams.
AUDIENCE ENGAGEMENT MANAGER
Our Audience Engagement Manager will lead two service journalism sites — Rewire.org and NextAvenue.org. Rewire delivers smart, original, and thought-provoking content that inspires young adults to grow, thrive and build a better world. Launched in the Fall of 2016, this award-winning team is experiencing rapid growth among its target audience of people in their 20s and 30s. Next Avenue is a trusted resource for what is now the largest segment of the adult population, and works every day to change how older Americans – and aging in general – are viewed in our country and to provide people with information and resources to live more vitally. As the key builder of relationships with our readers and viewers, our Audience Engagement Manager will set and execute digital engagement and distribution strategies that expand and foster loyalty with each of our audiences.
AUDIENCE ENGAGEMENT EDITOR
Our Audience Engagement Editor will build deep, authentic connections with audiences, partners, and diverse communities who have not discovered our two leading service journalism sites yet — Rewire.org and NextAvenue.org. This role plans, gathers, analyzes and shares out powerful, impactful stories that matter most to our audiences! Our Audience Engagement Editor is a digitally savvy journalist eager to connect audiences with our storytelling and quickly matches brand tone and adeptly manages several social feeds. As a member of our core audience team, this person plays a crucial part in executing digital distribution and engagement strategies that include social platforms, newsletters, crowdsourced content, notifications, SEO and paid and organic traffic.
