Temporary writer needed to write and edit a mix of remarks, reports, web copy, congratulatory letters/proclamations, and other public-facing material for a Manhattan elected official.
Needed: the ability to write quickly, in various tones and styles, for diverse audiences and purposes. Highly desired: a sense of humor, excellent time management skills, and presence of mind that stays intact under deadline.
Experience/interest in public affairs and community issues an asset.
