The Kerrville Daily Times seeks a breaking news reporter for its six-day-a-week newspaper and website in the Texas Hill Country.
The reporter will cover breaking news, crime, courts, public safety, and some general interest. The position will start at 7 a.m. on Tuesday through Friday and will require a Saturday shift.
The ideal candidate will have some experience working for a newspaper, but we will consider recent college graduates with clips from student newspaper or internship experience.
The right addition to our team is someone who is self-motivated and takes ownership in their work but remains flexible and has a good attitude. Willingness to work some evening hours and commitment to maintaining a team-oriented mindset is required.
