Want to start your journalism career with the small business banking industry publishing thought-leader?

Here is an immediate opportunity for you. The position(s) are available today!

What you will get:

$600 per week through Labor Day (or earlier per your situation)

Amazing, professional coaching that will start your career on the right step

A lot, and I mean a lot, of real world journalistic experience -- no coffee fetching with this internship (which would be difficult as it is virtual!)

Flexible hours, e.g. you set your schedule. (We also extend our company’s Netflix “vacation policy” to interns)

At least one travel assignment with all expenses paid to a small business lending conference in the U.S.

Numerous daily interactions with the publisher and staff -- we communicate with one-click Google video chat

What you need to offer:

B.A. degree, or close to graduation

A passion to improve your writing skills to produce clear, concise content for the C-Suite

Be part of the solution of helping small business lenders fund loans to Main Street entrepreneurs to make their dreams come true

Ability to work virtually, but accessible at a moment’s notice during your self-selected “set” hours (We will never email or contact you outside your “set” hours)

Excellent personal time-manager -- we’re not a big fan of Facebook and other time-wasting social apps on our dime

Commitment to hitting your agreed upon deadlines without exception. (This is really a “Yes sir,” “No sir,” “No excuse sir” type of internship)

We are a “no-jerks” company. From top to bottom. We understand we all make mistakes that give us “teachable moments” that help us all grow. We don’t yell, we don’t shame. We don’t do office drama. (The flip-side is we do not shy away from “difficult” conversations)

If this sounds like your cup of tea, here are the submission rules:

  1. Please do not call or email us. While I appreciate your eagerness, we can’t handle the logistics

  2. One page pdf cover letter why you believe this internship is the perfect fit for you and us

  3. One page pdf resume (cut out the fluff and give us the bullet points) highlighting your journalistic/educational/work experience/cool stuff accomplishments

  4. Put your LinkedIn/Facebook/Twitter/Instagram profiles in your one-page resume

  5. Please, no additional attachments, only the 2-page pdf submission

We’ll schedule an online interview and writing test if you make the first cut

Thank you for your consideration
