The biggest sports fans are those from small towns, who love their hometown teams! Be it baseball, football or basketball, the Iola Register is the go-to place for the news on the latest game.

The Iola Register is looking for a sports editor to cover local high school and community college sports. Writing, photography and layout skills required.

A journalism degree is preferred.

The Iola Register is published five days a week with a thriving web presence. It is the only daily in the county with a wide reach. We are family-owned for five generations and a consistent winner in Kansas Press Association’s annual competitions.
