Description:

Orlando Weekly seeks a digital content editor with proven skills that include social
media, breaking news coverage and website management. Applicants must have strong
news judgment and familiarity with the latest social media trends, live broadcasting and
web analytics.


Candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and should have
experience writing for online publication. Duties include writing daily blog posts,
optimizing work by staffers and freelancers, scheduling multiple social media accounts,
creating photo slideshows and meeting monthly web traffic goals.

Key skills required: attention to detail, superior spelling/grammar/punctuation skills,
familiarity with HTML and content management systems, basic photo editing abilities, a
passion for current local news and a swift approach to sharing it with our readers.
