We're looking for a creative, driven, and experienced Digital Content Anchor to join our growing digital content team and be a face of our brand on social media outlets. This position will report to the Managing Director of Content.


About This Role:


The Digital Content Anchor will be a key player in our company's marketing strategy and will be responsible for hosting various live and pre-recorded videos and interviews, sometimes as often on a weekly basis. Videos and interviews will be posted to platforms such as Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn. This position will also help produce and host recurring podcasts. The right candidate is a news junkie with a keen interest in and knowledge of business and financial market news, and has an idea of what's trending. We're looking for an excellent communicator and self-starter who collaborates well in a team-centric environment.


Responsibilities and opportunities


  • Anchor/host live and pre-recorded social media video segments
  • Craft scripts for all segments and design interview questions that will uncover information of substance and appeal to our customer base
  • Produce/collaborate on digital content videos around market news and trends as assigned by the Editorial Managing Director
  • Produce and host recurring podcast content with company leaders & editors
  • Anchor/host special "webinar" shows
  • Anchor/host interviews at large company events with special guests
  • Contribute story ideas
  • Contribute editorial content as assigned by Editorial Managers and Editorial Managing Director
  • Present content in an accurate and unbiased mindset
  • Produce and deliver work that engages audiences on social media


What requirements and qualities do we seek?


  • Minimum three years on-screen experience in broadcast or digital newsroom
  • High degree of curiosity and creativity
  • Ability to project sophisticated on-screen presence and represent company in an effective manner and one that improves marketing results
  • Knowledge of financial markets and current business news, along with general news
  • Ability to track and be prepared to respond to breaking news
  • Excellent writing, editorial, and organizational skills
  • Sound demonstration of editorial judgment and a commitment to journalistic ethics
  • Active engagement on social media platforms (Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.)
  • Ability to manage various projects simultaneously and work extended or "off" hours as needed and in connection with events and new developments
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Enjoy working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Podcast experience preferred
  • Ability to travel and be on site for events as necessary
