The Kiplinger Washington Editors, one of America’s most respected business and personal-finance publishers, is in immediate need for a bright and motivated data and research intern on our Kiplinger's Personal Financemagazine staff.

The intern will work with a team of editors on Kiplinger’s annual Best College Values rankings feature. Responsibilities include contacting colleges and universities to collect and verify numeric data, updating contact information for the schools, and working with editors on analyzing and evaluating such data supplied by the colleges and universities.

The successful applicant must have excellent analytical, quantitative and communication skills, as well as strong attention to detail. Solid computer and database skills, including a firm working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, is a must. The applicant must also be able to work well as part of a team under deadline pressure.

This is a paid internship, which will begin in early February and end by late-July. Qualified applicants should e-mail cover letter and résumé to:
