Is your writing compelling, crisp and colorful? Can you interview multiple news sources and write an article that is organized, balanced, informative and a good read, and then promote it on social media? Do you know the difference between Bibi and Buber?
If so, we’d like to hear from you.
J. The Jewish News of Northern California has an opening for a full-time reporter.
We are looking for an excellent writer with professional journalism experience and strong reporting skills, someone who can turn around a story quickly, with style and accuracy. The successful applicant has Jewish knowledge and an interest in covering all aspects of the Jewish community. You are comfortable handling a range of assignments, from breaking hard news to personality profiles to enterprise stories. You must live in the Bay Area. We are currently working remotely, but look forward to returning to our very collegial office in San Francisco's Financial District as soon as it is safe to do so.
This position is full time with benefits and is available immediately. To apply, send a resume and cover letter, along with several clips that represent your best writing, to J. Editor Sue Fishkoff at firstname.lastname@example.org.
