Description:

Pacific Fishing, the top commercial fishing trade magazine for the North Pacific region including Alaska, seeks a freelance technical editor to contribute regular content for our publication. The technical editor will research and write articles on topics including boats and boatbuilding, vessel maintenance, commercial fishing gear, marine electronics, and new products. The technical editor must be an experienced journalist, ideally with some background in commercial fishing or in the areas of marine engines, electronics, or fishing gear. The technical editor should be fluent in AP style and driven to meet deadlines. You will work with our editor to plan and deliver quality content that’s relevant to our commercial fishermen readers. The North Pacific fishing industry is a colorful and dynamic world, and this job is sure to be challenging and fun.
