We're seeking a talented and aggressive journalist to join our breaking news team at the Long Beach Press-Telegram.  This job focuses on covering public safety and spot news, but also includes opportunities (and expectations) for enterprise and investigative journalism. The reporter may work nights and weekends as needed. Moving quickly. Apply immediately. 

The ideal candidate for this position is a tenacious reporter who writes gracefully and quickly. We serve the digital audience first, so it's critical to be nimble, reporting rapidly for mobile, and adept at engaging sources and readers via social media channels.
