The Billings Gazette is looking for a reporter who isn’t just curious about what’s happening in the Billings area, but wants to interview local and touring musicians, artists and actors, and dive deep into the city’s growing food-and-drink scene. This reporter will lead our coverage of events and features for our weekly entertainment tab, Enjoy. It wouldn’t hurt to be occasionally handy with a camera.

The next arts and entertainment reporter will have previous journalism experience and will need to be highly organized, great at networking, and have a flair for engaging readers through social media.

The Billings Gazette is an award winning paper that covers a huge portion of Montana and Wyoming. Billings is close to skiing, hiking, Yellowstone National Park and the Little Bighorn Battlefield. It’s growing and has an eclectic arts and music scene. It’s also the kind of place where you can get a great beer and pretty darn good meal. Billings has many of the things you’d want in a larger city, but you can still see the stars at night or find nearby trails to hike.
