Description:

The Director/Marketing and Communications provides and implements a strategic and integrated marketing and communications plan for Central Michigan University's College of Medicine, with campuses in Mount Pleasant and Saginaw, Michigan, its clinical enterprise - CMU Health and CMU Medical Education Partners (CMU Partners) graduate medical education programs.
Bachelor's degree in public relations, communications, journalism, writing or a related field.
Four years of relevant experience as a reporter, public relations executive, editor or similar position.
Demonstrated ability to write and edit for print and web; to work with writers, photographers, illustrators, and designers to produce high quality publications, periodicals, and web-based media; to work with state and national media; and to follow style guides and graphic standards manuals to achieve consistency in text and graphics for print and web.
Demonstrated problem-solving skills.
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. Working knowledge of computer applications.
Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).
Ability to project a positive and professional image. Ability to perform the essential functions of the position.
