The Good Search is seeking a telecommuting Data Research Associate to join our boutique executive search and recruiting research practice. If you are smart, educated, collaborative, technically adept at wrangling data, you may have what it takes to join our team.

The Position

As a Research Associate, you will conduct company and executive research. You will identify prospective candidates, build out profiles in our database, develop phone and email details, and verify that information. You will help build company org charts, determining who reports into whom. 

Building org charts of target companies is a lot like piecing together a giant jigsaw puzzle. It requires patience, obsessive attention to detail, and the ability to think strategically about data and to spot patterns in information that others might miss. In addition, it helps if you get a strange sense of satisfaction from organizing data, and making sure it does not have informational, grammatical, spelling, and punctuation errors. We actually publish the information from our database. We have to get it right.
