Virtual Office. Full time.

Endpoints News is expanding its biotech and pharmaceutical industry coverage and is seeking a business reporter and editor to help manage that growth and play a pivotal role in its development.

The associate editor might not know drug development today, but they possess the fundamentals of good reporting and an ability to quickly learn how to cover this industry for a professional audience. Serious candidates can write great news copy now (not just any copy), and they can write that news  quickly.

This editor will work closely with the founding editor, John Carroll, and assist him in assembling our feature edition daily newsletter. You will be expected to contribute at least two bylines a day in the Endpoints News style (see this chronological listing of our stories and work back).

The ideal candidate is a digital native who can monitor, write, and edit news copy starting no later than 6 am, helping out with an ambitious social media strategy.

You should feel comfortable with a range of reporting tasks. This is a small team that punches above its weight. The associate editor will be a key player on this team, with plenty of opportunities to write news stories consumed by an elite business audience.

To apply, please submit a cover letter, resume, and three links to your work. The links matter most.
