New England Public Radio (WFCR and WNNZ) seeks a creative, highly motivated reporter to serve as digital news editor for the station’s award-winning news department. The ideal candidate should be able to write, edit and curate news postings to NEPR.net, manage social media accounts and work with reporters to create digital content to accompany news reports.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in journalism or related field and 4 years of journalism experience. Ability to report, write, edit and copyedit digital news briefs and features. Familiarity with HTML and content management programs, preferably Drupal and WordPress. Ability to produce and edit photos, videos and charts. Familiarity with audio editing preferred. Ability to travel to locations of news events and work outside normal business hours.
Salary: $41,900 - $57,800 (normal starting salary $41,900 - $52,500). Excellent benefits.
