The News-Miner is a six-day daily newspaper in the middle of Alaska's beautiful and rugged Interior with a growing digital presence. We are the second-largest newspaper in the largest state in the nation, and we cover a huge geographic range with a wide variety of stories. The News-Miner is locally owned by a private nonprofit. Fairbanks is home to a university and a thriving arts community, as well as hundreds of miles of trails for skiing, running, hiking, dog mushing, camping, etc. 

We are looking for a copy editor with professional experience at either a daily or weekly newspaper. Knowledge of InDesign or a comparable pagination program is a must. Must be comfortable with social media.
