Central Connecticut Communications, parent company of The Bristol Press and the New Britain Herald, seeks  a digital journalist to join its award-winning team. We are looking for a dynamic writer who can cover games, write feature stories, contribute stories and video for our websites and design pages with InDesign for our daily newspaper in central Connecticut -- but most importantly, be a catalyst for the transition to digital journalism. The successful candidate will be an innovator and creative thinker across all of our platforms, and is expected to be pro-active in every facet of the newspaper business.

We cover high school sports as if it was the pros, a Division I college, Central Connecticut State, the Bristol Blues Futures League team, the Atlantic League's New Britain Bees, the Eastern Regional Little League tournament, the Nutmeg State Games, pro tennis  and PGA Tour golf.
