REPORTER WANTED
The Franklin Region of Community Newspapers Inc. has an opening in beautiful Western North Carolina. We are seeking a general assignment reporter to join our team covering news and events that affect our communities of Highlands and Cashiers, North Carolina. If you love the outdoors, hiking, waterfalls, and a vibrant small-town atmosphere, this could be your dream job. The successful candidate will be an enterprising writer who can cover government, education, and the arts; produce bright, clean features; and is dedicated to reporting about the issues affecting the lives of residents. Minimum requirements: technology savvy with a degree in journalism or related field. Photography skills are a plus.
