A private investigative agency is seeking experienced reporters who have covered publicly traded companies and who would like to work regularly on a part-time, telecommuting basis. We are seeking enterprising reporters who have worked at daily metro newspapers, magazines and trade publications who have outstanding investigative skills and who like to dig. You will assist us in conducting in depth interviews and investigations of corporate fraud. We are looking for those with a background in business, finance and investigations with superior interviewing abilities, a drive to succeed, analytical skills and detailed writing abilities who would like to work 15 to 25 hours a week or more, throughout 2017 and beyond. The ideal candidate is persuasive, passionate and precise in their telephone interviewing, writing and research skills. This is a freelance subcontractor position for people with a proven track record. Legal experience a plus. Understanding of GAAP even better. Use of Word compatible with Apple computers is a necessity. No travel required.
