On Point Investigations, a private investigative agency, is seeking additional business, financial and investigative reporters and investigative professionals from federal law enforcement and the legal professoin with a proven track record of investigating fraud. The position is remote and involves conducting interviews and writing in depth, detailed reports.
Based in the Boston area with associates from coast to coast, On Point digs into whistleblower cases, securities fraud, antitrust violations and consumer class actions to support the cases on behalf of consumers, taxpayers and shareholders. As it continues to grow, the firm is looking for additional members to join the team in 2026 The positions are remote with flexible work hours and provide long term employment opportunity to qualified persons.
We are seeking enterprising, productive and deadline driven individuals. The job requires self motivated diggers who are ethical, trustworthy and driven to succeed. The work hours are flexible requiring about 20 hours a week or more if desired. With the information we find, our clients successfully return financial losses to shareholders, taxpayers and consumers. If you've covered Wall Street, the Fortune 500 or have experience digging into large and small companies and / or understand GAAP you the right qualifications.

Job Description:
Conduct interviews with sources and relevant individuals
Develop and manage source relationships
Gather and verify information through interviews and open-source research
Review public records, media reports, and online information
Identify and develop investigative leads
Prepare clear, concise written summaries of findings
Support investigations involving securities fraud and whistleblower matters
Qualifications:
Experience in investigative journalism, private investigations, law enforcement, intelligence, government investigations, or related work
Strong interviewing skills with the ability to build rapport and obtain information effectively
Excellent writing, judgment, and organizational ability
Experience with public records and open-source research
Ability to work independently and handle sensitive matters with discretion
Familiarity with legal, corporate, financial, or regulatory subject matter is a plus
